Jumping the Gun

My Oncologist called this morning with my PSA number. When it was him on the phone, I knew right away that I was not going to like what followed.

12-31-07 PSA number: 30.9

And so we wait through the month of January. Perhaps the last few weeks have had an impact? My diet didn't change but I was certainly less active and much more lethargic than usual.

No sweat..... it is what it is!

My name is John F. Sharp and I was diagnosed with Stage IV Advanced Prostate Cancer March 14, 2003. I am rounding the corner of five years. I have been very fortunate to deal with some of the best doctors in the world. My original Diagnosis was T3aNoM1a with a PSA of 19.8 at age 47. I am involved with US Too, PCEC and several very talented doctors that I would like you to see. Please reach out for me and I can bring you up to speed. You can reach me at jsharp@donandsons.com or you can even call me at 303-420-9497. I am still in remission and I deal with trying to help people with Advanced Prostate Cancer. A couple of the Doctors that I deal with are Dan Petrylak (Columbia University) and E. David Crawford (University of Colorado). There are some trials that you may want to get on quickly. So please reach out for me.

Sincerly,
