Here are my random thoughts as I get a grip on having cancer at 42 (now 49) years old. I would like to inspire hope in all of you and in myself as well as to provide a place for you to keep track of me through this ordeal.

David, I am really happy to hear of your story. I was given this link on a Prostate Cancer Forum. I am 39, diagnosed in Nov 09 with Metastatic PCa, Gleason 9, PSA up to 158, but at 19.5 (1/6/10)- Hopefully lower now. It is in bladder, lymph nodes, hips, pelvis, spine, ribs, shoulder blades, and sternum. I received Lupron in Dec 09 and get Zometa monthly. I have been to Dr. Forsythe in Reno, NV (found in Suzanne Somers' new book, "Knockout". Your story could basically be mine and I hope and pray for all of us who suffer. I have bone pain still and fatigue, hoping for miracles. I live in Salt Lake City, but am originally from St. Louis and will be returning there to live this upcoming summer to be closer to family.
